In his first press conference as a member of the New Orleans Pelicans organization, freshly hired VP of Basketball Operations David Griffin talked about many things regarding the future of the team. One thing he touched on was how he views beloved New Orleans guard Jrue Holiday’s role with the franchise moving forward.

While it should be no surprise that one of the best two-way guards in the NBA is high on David Griffin’s list of “likes” within the New Orleans Pelicans’ locker room, it is still reassuring to see that Jrue Holiday is thought of as being the guy that the new roster constructor in town wants to build the team’s future around.
