Pelicans' Anthony Davis exits game after suffering groin injury

New Orleans Pelicans forward Anthony Davis had to be helped off the court after suffering a left groin injury in the fourth quarter Friday night against the Utah Jazz.

The Pelicans said Davis was doubtful to return to the game.

Davis was injured as he battled for a rebound with Utah's Derrick Favors underneath the basket with 11:35 left in the game. He remained down for several moments as trainers examined him, and could not put any weight on his left leg as he was helped to the locker room.
