With the impending departure of two of the top six players (Ryan Anderson and Eric Gordon), the New Orleans Pelicans finally have the cap space to fix their most glaring need, small forward. Everyone knows the small foward position has been the biggest struggle for the Pelicans since the days of Trevor Ariza.
Current General Manager Dell Demps and former Head Coach Monty Williams tried to patch it up a bit by signing low-marquee guys who have only one specialty (defense or shooting) and “revolutionizing” it by playing Tyreke Evans out of position.
