The New Orleans Pelicans were able to obtain a win they absolutely needed against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Anthony Davis and Jrue Holiday played exceptionally well, scoring 27 points a piece, and they will look to keep it up against the stout Utah Jazz defense.
Currently holding the eighth seed, the Jazz have a seven game lead on New Orleans in the race for the eighth seed. Led by their stifling defense that allows the second fewest points per game, the Jazz have won their last six games. The Jazz have done this while playing with the slowest pace in the entire NBA.
