The New Orleans Pelicans entered Friday night’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers riding high. New Orleans had won three straight games after a 1-11 start and looked to be turning the corner. Then everything went down the drain, as the Pelicans were hammered throughout the night by the Clippers and saw Anthony Davis go down to a knee injury late in the third quarter. Suddenly the high that the Pelicans were on was replaced with anger and frustration that really had not much to do with the game. Now New Orleans must bounce back immediately as they head to Utah to take on a Jazz team that has started the season nicely.
