The New Orleans Pelicans proved to the fans on Monday night that there is still some fight left in the team after grinding out a victory against the struggling New York Knicks. With the return of Jrue Holiday, the Pelicans were able to force mistakes by New York and take advantage on the other end, both things the team struggled with in Holiday’s absence.
Without Jrue Holiday (even with him, honestly), the Pelicans are unlikely to do either of those things against the San Antonio Spurs. Boasting the fourth most efficient offense and the most efficient defense, San Antonio is a complete team that is deep at nearly every position and can take advantage of their opponent’s weaknesses.
