The New Orleans Pelicans continue to confuse everyone. Just two days after beating one of the three Western Conference juggernauts, the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Pelicans lost to the lowly Minnesota Timberwolves. Once again, the Pelicans played to their level of competition in a game that should have been a fairly easy victory considering the recent level of the Pelicans’ play.
Anthony Davis was forced to miss the game due to a sprain he suffered in pregame warmups in his big toe, and the rest of the Pelicans’ roster was not able to pick up the slack on the defensive end.
