For the home crowd of the New Orleans Pelicans, it has been a long and winding road. Compared to how the team has played when away from the Smoothie King Center, the Pelicans have played well at home, winning over half of their games. In fact, attendees have been treated to some truly brilliant basketball at points. In New Orleans, the Pelicans beat the Spurs, the Cavaliers and the Los Angeles Clippers.
Unfortunately, the home crowd also witnessed the Pelicans lose to teams like the Minnesota Timberwolves and Phoenix Suns. In general, though, it has been a relatively successful season at the Smoothie King Center, and it is sad that the Pelicans will not be closing the regular season out on their home court.
