The New Orleans Pelicans will bring in the much-maligned Lance Stephenson in for a workout.
Stephenson, a 6’5’’ playmaking wingman, averaged 14.2 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.8 assists for the Memphis Grizzlies following a trade from the Los Angeles Clippers at the deadline for Jeff Green last season. Lance immediately stepped into a sizable role for Dave Joerger as his team was also significantly ravaged by injury.
As it was mentioned during the breaking Shawn Dawson news, the Pelicans currently have 15 guaranteed players under contract.
