The New Orleans Pelicans have been destroyed by injuries all season long. That came to a head on Saturday night in Dallas when New Orleans was left to play with just nine healthy bodies thanks to the absence of Tyreke Evans, Norris Cole, Omer Asik, Quincy Pondexter, Kendrick Perkins and Jrue Holiday due to various aliments. According to Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports, New Orleans has started to do something about the problem by agreeing to sign veteran guard Jimmer Fredette after applying to the NBA for a hardship exception.
