The third quarter of the regular season was a tough one for the New Orleans Pelicans, and the staff at Pelican Debrief took the time to answer some questions about the team and season. In really the Pelicans’ last chance to make a push for the playoffs, the team faltered, and once again, injuries can be blamed for a significant amount of the woes.
Tyreke Evans required another knee surgery and will miss the remainder of the season. Omer Asik sprained his ankle and missed 5 games. Eric Gordon fractured his finger, missed 16 games and re-fractured his finger again after playing in just five contests.
