New Orleans Pelicans: Team Can’t Practice Until at least March 17

Adam Silver took to TNT to give a timetable for when or if the NBA will return after suspending play due to the outbreak of COVID-19:

The NBA will remain suspended for at least 30 days, though some in the league are pessimistic that the season will resume at all.

The New Orleans Pelicans were informed that group practices cannot resume until March 17 at the earliest and that players were to try to reduce their contact with the public, according to Mark Stein.

The league memo instructed teams to exercise a “one player, one coach, one basket” rule, as a way to separate players who may be using practice facilities at the same time.
