After the loss of Wayne Selden Jr., the New Orleans Pelicans are signing Quinn Cook.
The Pels announced a 10-day contract for the man two years removed from the University of Duke. He last played for the Dallas Mavericks on a different 10-day deal, and put up over five points per game. Cook also averaged 2.4 assists and 1.8 turnovers per contest.
His shooting from his last stint did not impress enough to earn him more NBA time. He averaged just 44 percent from the field shooting and 35.7 percent from deep in five games.
