The New Orleans Pelicans are a bit of a mess right now in just about every facet of their organization. With a roster that does not fit the new head coach’s preferred style, a general manager that may or may not be in danger of losing his job, and a superstar getting set to enter his prime, the Pelicans face more chaos than most teams in the NBA.
According to a report from CBS’s Jason La Canforna, things are only going to get more chaotic in the future, as Mickey Loomis, the executive vice president and general manager of the New Orleans Saints, is going to be transitioned towards a role with the Pelicans.
