For the first time in the early season, the New Orleans Pelicans found themselves in a game on Tuesday night. Despite trailing by double digits in the second half, New Orleans continued to fight throughout the night and behind a barrage of three-pointers from Eric Gordon and Ryan Anderson found their way back into the contest, cutting the Magic lead all the way down to six points late in the fourth quarter.
Ultimately, though, it wasn’t enough as defensive breakdowns and missed shots on offense doomed the Pelicans who fell 103-94.
