The New Orleans Pelicans came into Madison Square Garden after collapsing in the second half against the Toronto Raptors on Friday night to face the New York Knicks in a matinee match-up. Unfortunately, history repeated itself, and the Pelicans imploded in the second half yet again. Unlike the last few games, the Pelicans never looked tapped for energy. Instead, they simply failed to play effective basketball and fell to another team they should have beaten. Gentry’s rotations seemed silly at points, the Pelicans gave up far too many offensive rebounds (10) and turned the ball over much too frequently (18).
