Halloween in New Orleans was supposed to be plenty of fun for the New Orleans Pelicans and their fans. After a playoff appearance last season, the Pelicans entered Saturday night’s home opener with high hopes and expectations. Then Stephen Curry took a flamethrower to them all and burned the nets at the Smoothie King Center to the tune of 51 points on just 27 shots as the Golden State Warriors prevailed 134-120.
Jrue Holiday played really well for most of his 27 minutes (more on that in a bit) tonight on both ends of the floor.
