Throughout the Las Vegas Summer League, Seth Curry proved that he belonged in the NBA. Curry led the New Orleans Pelicans summer squad to the semifinals in the Championship Tournament by being the leading scorer in the league despite not shooting the ball that well from three-point land. Entering the weekend it seemed likely that the Pelicans would be in the running for the next phase of Curry’s career as they were rumored to be in discussions with the young guard about a guaranteed contract. As it turns out though, the next phase of Curry’s career will be elsewhere.
