On Monday night the shell of the New Orleans Pelicans took on the Houston Rockets in one of the Pelicans final three preseason games. Thanks to injuries, though, the Pelicans entered the game without Omer Asik (strained calf), Alexis Ajinca (strained hamstring), Tyreke Evans (sore knee), Norris Cole (high ankle sprain), Quincy Pondexter (knee surgery) and Anthony Davis (rest). That mean the players that were playing like Jrue Holiday, needed to get extra creative in finding ways to get clean shots up against the Rockets defense.
