New Orleans Pelicans granted $3.6 million exception for Darius Miller injury

Despite a hefty bunch of offseason changes to the New Orleans Pelicans roster, it looks like the injury to Darius Miller leaves them with still another move on the table. The team was waiting to find out if they had the cash after Miller was ruled out for the season on Aug. 30.

Yesterday evening, Shams Charania of The Athletic announced via Twitter that the New Orleans Pelicans will have an additional $3.625 million in cap space this season, due to the injury to Miller.
