Things looked up for the New Orleans Pelicans, after their fantastic victory against the Cavs Monday night.
Unfortunately, the momentum hit a screeching halt.
The Pelicans came out flat Wednesday night and, other than one inspired run late, played flat the entire game. It cost them, as they fell at home to the Oklahoma City Thunder 114-105.
New Orleans gave up a frustrating 64 points in the first half, while only scoring 45 of their own. Oklahoma City completely dominated the paint for the entire game, even when the Pelicans attempted to go big.
The worst news came in the second half, when Anthony Davis left the game with a right thigh bruise, the same one he injured just a few games ago.
