New Orleans Pelicans get a much needed break

A much needed break is headed the New Orleans Pelicans way. After a grueling stretch that included back-to-backs or only one day of rest between games, the Pelicans can now focus on a recharge of their mind and body. The bodies especially need healing.

Already minus guard E’Twaun Moore and forward Nikola Mirotic for Wednesday night’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Pelicans got a slight scare in the 2nd quarter when Anthony Davis went to the locker room with what the training staff called a foot contusion.

Davis was able to come back in and finish the game.
