The Annual NBA League Pass Rankings have become something of an NBA tradition. In fact, they might be the premiere tradition of NBA preview coverage, begotten at the shuttered Grantland.com as a way to spew what-ifs and probablies about the league’s premier entertainment candidates. However, this year’s iteration of the rankings paints a realistic (if not grim) vision of the 2016-2017 New Orleans Pelicans.
Entertainment here is defined loosely by Zach Lowe (formerly of Grantland, now of ESPN.com, maybe the best sportswriter in the country), the writer and creator of these impassioned defenses.
