The New Orleans Pelicans dominated the Portland Trail Blazers in the first round, in large part thanks to the stellar play of Jrue Holiday.
Holiday – who might be playing the best basketball of his career – was great on both sides of the floor.
He averaged 27.8 points per game and 6.6 assists per game in the first round series, including 41 points in the final game.
Incredibly impressive for a guard who most figured wasn’t capable of this level of play. But alas, Holiday is proving the haters wrong.
Now his New Orleans Pelicans await the winner of the Golden State/San Antonio series.
