The New Orleans Pelicans know their opponent for the first round of the NBA’s Las Vegas Summer League Tournament.
The Pelicans earned themselves the 21st seed after going 1-2 in the first three games of play. This puts them in a first round matchup against the 12th seeded Miami Heat. The winner of this game will go on Thursday to play against the 5th seeded Phoenix Suns.
New Orleans will look for a strong game from Buddy Hield, who will be matched up with former Northeastern guard David Walker. Walker has averaged 8.7 points per game and has started all three games for the Heat this summer.
