From the moment that he re-signed with the New Orleans Pelicans this offseason, the reports surrounding Dante Cunningham all said that he was working to add a three-pointer, specifically a corner three-pointer, to his game. After a successful season in New Orleans without that corner three, it was hoped that Cunningham would feel comfortable with the shot to utilize it during this season, especially considering that he looks likely to start while Quincy Pondexter recovers from offseason surgery. As it turns out though, that may not be the case, as reports out of media day say Cunningham probably won’t be shooting the shot that much.
