New Orleans Pelicans dominate Blazers despite no Anthony Davis

The New Orleans Pelicans didn’t have Anthony Davis for their game against the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday. Everyone that checked into the game picked up some of the slack for the superstar – leading the Pelicans to a big win.

What do I mean by picking up the slack?

Well, there was DeMarcus Cousins, who played his usual role of being a monster. The big man finished with 38 points and eight rebounds. When he got angry(er than usual), a Pelicans win seemed almost guaranteed.

Then there was Jrue Holiday, who posted 17 points to go along with seven assists and five rebounds.
