The New Orleans Pelicans could be without star center DeMarcus Cousins Wednesday night.
Due to Boogie earning his 18th technical foul Sunday night, Cousins is up for a one-game suspension. The NBA rules are clear. Once a player earns 16 technical fouls, they will see a one game suspension after each set of two technical fouls.
That means DeMarcus Cousins is in the danger zone, at a critical point of the Pelicans season. Unfortunately for New Orleans, last night’s game meant more than just one loss. Unless the tech sees an overturn, Cousins will sit out, as the Pels play the Detroit Pistons Wednesday night.
