Zion Williamson will not take to the New Orleans Pelicans basketball court for a couple more months. The Pelicans training camp does not start until late September. However, Zion and the Pelicans were looking at a possible court date for dueling trademark filings.
The New Orleans Pelicans filed for rights to the “Let’s Dance!” quote Zion Williamson gave on the NBA Draft stage. A few days later Zion Williamson’s team filed for the rights to the quote as well.
Zion Williamson has pending litigation in North Carolina against Prime Sports, a marketing company. Prime Sports filed suit against Williamson in a Florida court.
