New Orleans Pelicans fans most likely hit peak euphoria state when they miraculously landed the number one overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft in Zion Williamson. That then tapered off with the additions of multiple first-rounders in Jaxson Hayes and Nickeil Alexander-Walker, along with free agent signing J.J. Redick and trade acquisition Derrick Favors.
The summer has since worn down many of us and that same euphoric state has already bled to its bottom and will begin to bounce on an upward trend once again as the 2019-20 NBA campaign quickly approaches.
