The New Orleans Pelicans came out of the gate firing on Wednesday night in Sacramento. The Pelican went up early by jumping out to a nine point lead in the first quarter. Anthony Davis returned to the lineup after missing the better part of three games, and his presence clearly helped the Pelicans get the win. Unfortunately, Tyreke Evans left the game with pain in his knee early on, and he did not return to the floor.
The ball was constantly moving in Sacramento, and the Pelicans finished with 27 assists on the game. On the other side of the ball, the bigs forced Demarcus Cousins to be a volume scorer by substantially limiting his efficiency.
