Following the first quarter of Tuesday night’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies, the New Orleans Pelicans had to be riding the highest high they had all season. Two important pieces of the rotation, Norris Cole and Tyreke Evans, had returned from injury and the Pelicans shot 70 percent from the field to take a 38-27 lead after 12 minutes. Then everything fell apart as the Memphis Grizzlies got into the lane at will and dominated the final three quarters on their way to a 113-104 win that left New Orleans at 4-14 and searching for answers.
