New Orleans Pelicans arena makes changes to security after kid hugs New York Knicks F Carmelo Anthony

Two Smoothie King Center security workers have been fired after a breakdown that allowed a young child to run onto the court and hug Carmelo Anthony during a New Orleans Pelicans' game against the New York Knicks last week, according to NOLA.com.

The website reported that an usher at Smoothie King Center was fired and a New Orleans police officer will no longer work Pelicans games after the incident.
