For the first time in E’Twaun Moore’s six-year NBA career, he’s beginning a season in the Western Conference, joining New Orleans after stints with Boston, Orlando and Chicago. The 27-year-old is hoping to make his third career appearance in the playoffs, after reaching the postseason as a Celtics rookie and once with the Bulls in 2014-15. Moore’s most memorable moment in the pros actually also proved to be a very positive one for the Pelicans, because the player’s shot to beat Oklahoma City helped New Orleans eke out a ’15 playoff spot. The Thunder and Pelicans finished that regular season deadlocked at 45-37 apiece, but NOLA held the tiebreaking advantage to grab the West’s eighth seed.
