Kendrick Perkins signed this summer as a free agent with New Orleans, his fourth different NBA team. He’s had tremendous success at every stop in the league, highlighted by starting at center for the Boston Celtics in 2008, the only time since the 1980s that the storied franchise has captured the title. Perkins also started for Oklahoma City in 2011-12, when the Thunder reached the NBA Finals for the lone time since moving to the Sooner State. Last season, Perkins appeared in the third NBA Finals series of his career, as a reserve for Cleveland.
