LAS VEGAS – As the new head coach of the Pelicans, Alvin Gentry has often discussed his plan for New Orleans to play faster and launch more three-pointers. It’s only summer league, but Gentry’s vision is already unfolding on the court. In Friday’s opener, the Pelicans fired 29 three-point attempts (making 11) and pushed the ball at every opportunity, an aggressive attack that led to an action-packed victory.
