After two straight dominant victories to open the year, the New Orleans Pelicans will host the Los Angeles Clippers in the team’s second home contest of the regular season on Tuesday evening. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m.
The Clippers are 2-1, fresh off Sunday’s 115-112 victory over the short-handed Houston Rockets in the final matchup of a three-game home stand. Their other win came against the Oklahoma City Thunder, without star Russell Westbrook.
Los Angeles has the depth and talent necessary to compete. Against the Rockets, Tobias Harris led his unit with 23 points, and four others joined him with double-digit scoring efforts.
