Entering this offseason the New Orleans Pelicans were seemingly going to be in the market for backup big man to replace Alexis Ajinca. After a wonderful offensive season off the bench for New Orleans, Ajinca seemed ready to get paid an awful lot of money by some team to move into a role as a third big man. As it turns out everyone was wrong as Ajinca will be returning to New Orleans for at least four more seasons.
ESPN sources say that Ajinca and the Pelicans have come to terms on a four-year deal valued, more precisely, at $20.
