Monty Williams describes Tyreke Evans, Jrue Holiday as game-time decisions for Game 2 against Warriors

SAN FRANCISCO – After Tyreke Evans bruised his left knee during Saturday’s first half, his injury status has been the biggest question mark for New Orleans entering Monday’s Game 2 at Golden State. Evans isn’t the only key Pelicans player in jeopardy of not playing against the Warriors, however.

New Orleans Coach Monty Williams told the media this morning at the University of San Francisco that both Evans and point guard Jrue Holiday appear to be game-time decisions. Holiday has been in a touch-and-go situation since returning from the leg injury that sidelined him for 41 games. For example, he did not play in a late-season road back-to-back, held out of the April 13 win at Minnesota for precautionary reasons.
