LOS ANGELES -- Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant left Tuesday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans with a sore right Achilles. He did not return.
In 16 minutes against the Pelicans, Bryant finished with seven points on 3-of-9 shooting, including 0-of-5 from 3-point range, to go along with three rebounds and an assist.
The 37-year-old Bryant, who has announced his plans to retire after this season -- his 20th in the NBA -- missed the Lakers' previous game -- a Sunday loss to the Utah Jazz -- with the same injury.
