One month ago, Kendrick Perkins was diagnosed with a strained pectoral injury. It was believed he would be out for around three months. According to Kyle Draper of Comcast SportsNet, Perkins is looking to return this Friday when he New Orleans Pelicans play the Washington Wizards.
With Omer Asik and Alexis Ajinca healthy and the Pelicans giving Anthony Davis plenty of run at center to keep Ryan Anderson on the floor, Perkins future role should be rather small. Against certain matchups, he will not likely even hear his name called from off the bench.
