With professional basketball surprisingly close to being played, Sports Illustrated’s fantastic top 100 NBA players list made its return.
Dropping players 100-51 today, Jrue Holiday was placed at #60 after not being in SI’s top 100 last season.
It seems a year full of health, above-average defense, and decent shooting vaulted him up the rankings. Rob Mahoney cited his defense as a major factor in his positioning in the list.
Saying, “Denial is a Holiday specialty” and beautifully describing his defense by stating “It’s hard to fully grasp how imposing Holiday is until you watch him hound some poor, undersize( point guard punching the clock in a random regular season game.
