As a result of injuries, two players in the Pelicans-Warriors series with recent All-Star appearances under their belt have made surprisingly little impact. New Orleans guard Jrue Holiday (an Eastern Conference All-Star in 2013) has logged a total of 21 minutes – all in Game 1 – while Golden State forward David Lee (2010, 2013 All-Star) still hasn’t gotten on the floor.
Lee will miss a third consecutive game Thursday at New Orleans, due to a lower back strain. Meanwhile, Holiday’s status for Game 3 remained uncertain roughly 100 minutes before tip-off, with Monty Williams saying there was no final indication on whether Holiday will play.
