PORTLAND – As expected, Jrue Holiday will play Wednesday against Portland, after sitting out Tuesday’s game vs. Golden State. He will be joined in the lineup by forward Dante Cunningham, whose status was uncertain this afternoon after he was listed as questionable due to a head contusion. Cunningham sustained the injury against Golden State and was tested for a concussion, but was ruled OK. On the negative side of the ledger, forward Luke Babbitt will not play due to a left hamstring strain.
As a result, New Orleans (0-1) is expected to have 10 players in uniform against the Trail Blazers, who are playing their 2015-16 regular season opener.
