Jahlil Okafor recently mentioned on C.J. McCollum’s podcast that he’s excited to join the New Orleans Pelicans and he’s taken all of the right steps this offseason to revitalize his career. On a more individual note, Okafor also said that he’s looking forward to teaming up and learning from MVP-candidate Anthony Davis.
“He’s always been like a mark for me to look at,” stated Okafor. “He’s not too much older than me, but a role model in the sense of just the success he’s had and he’s always done everything the right way.
