The New Orleans Pelicans are in need of shooters and capable scorers. Specifically, to fill the voids left by the trade of Buddy Hield, Langston Galloway and Tyreke Evans.
The trade was necessitated, due to the fact that the Pelicans netted arguably one of the best frontcourt players in the league in Boogie Cousins. He now pairs up with one of the top five players at his position in Anthony Davis.
In doing so, the trade for DeMarcus Cousins depleted the Pels backcourt tremendously. That leaves Alvin Gentry with a bare cupboard of perimeter players outside. Aside from Jrue Holiday and Jordan Crawford, who can create their own shot.
