It was March 7th when the New Orleans Pelicans announced that fan favorite Jrue Holiday was dealing with a lower abdominal strain. At that time, the team said Jrue would be re-evaluated in 7-10 days, but we did not get any sort of update after that time window. It’s been a full 17 days since the last report from the team.
So what’s really going on here? Is Jrue’s injury continuing to linger on this long? It’s possible. Strains can vary in recovery time on a case by case basis, so he very well could still be in a little bit of discomfort.
