1) New Orleans (32-43) posted a high-scoring victory over Dallas last night, by a 121-118 final margin. Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins combined for 59 points and 29 rebounds.
2) The Pelicans are now 4.5 games out of eighth place in the Western Conference, with seven games remaining on their schedule. Portland (36-38) is currently eighth and hosts Houston tonight at 9:30 p.m. Central on TNT. Denver (35-39) is ninth and leads New Orleans by 3.5 games.
