ESPN analyst says NBA executives have called Kings’ DeMarcus Cousins one of ten worst players

ESPN’s Brian Windhorst appeared on SportsCenter Monday morning and had a lot of interesting things to say about last night’s DeMarcus Cousins trade.

To kick things off, Windhorst stated that the Sacramento Kings started looking for offers this past Friday and Saturday mornings. The reason the Vlade Divac-led front office acted so quickly was due to the newly ratified Collective Bargaining Agreement, specifically the Designated Player Veteran Extension. Through this new rule, Cousins would have commanded 35% of the cap and a 5-year contract that would have approached a value of $210 million dollars.
