NEW ORLEANS -- Golden State Warriors All-Star Kevin Durant and New Orleans Pelicans All-Star DeMarcus Cousins were ejected late in Monday night's 125-115 Warriors win.
The pair, who had each earned a technical earlier in the game, started arguing with one another with 1:14 left in regulation as teammates had to stand in front of the arguing stars.
Durant was critical of the officials' decision but was regretful for the sequence that led to his ejection. Cousins did not speak to media after the game.
"I thought he just threw us out pretty quick to be honest," Durant said after his third ejection over the last 18 games.
